Terms & Conditions
Last updated: November 3, 2026
By purchasing a HobbyScool Speaker Sponsorship for one of our summits, you agree to the following terms.
The Agreement and Acceptance
These Speaker Sponsorship Terms & Conditions (the "Agreement") are between HobbyScool LLC, a Georgia limited liability company ("Host"), and the person or business that purchases a speaker sponsorship for a HobbyScool summit ("Sponsor"). This Agreement covers the summit Sponsor selects at checkout (the "Summit"). Each Summit purchased is a separate sponsorship under this Agreement. Collectively, Host and Sponsor will be referred to as the "Parties."
Sponsor accepts this Agreement by checking the box at checkout and completing payment of the Sponsorship Fee described in Section 2. Upon completion of checkout, this Agreement will be deemed to take effect for the Summit purchased. By completing checkout, Sponsor confirms that Sponsor is at least eighteen (18) years of age, has the authority to accept this Agreement in Sponsor's own name or on behalf of Sponsor's business, and has read and understands this Agreement.
Sponsorship is open to speakers only. By purchasing a sponsorship, Sponsor is also a speaker for the Summit, and this Agreement governs Sponsor's participation as both sponsor and speaker for the Summit. Host limits each Summit to five (5) sponsor speaker spots. Host may decline any sponsorship purchase that is not a good fit for the Summit or Host's audience, in which case Host will refund the Sponsorship Fee in full.
Sponsorship Fee
The sponsorship fee is $297 for one Summit ("Sponsorship Fee"), payable in full through Host's checkout. Each Summit is booked and paid for separately.
The Sponsorship Fee is non-refundable once paid, including in the event of cancellation by Sponsor under Section 7. If Host cancels the Summit, Host will, at Sponsor's choice, move Sponsor's sponsorship to another HobbyScool summit with an open sponsor spot or refund the Sponsorship Fee in full.
What's Included and What Sponsor Provides
Sponsor's Obligations
- Sponsor will deliver one (1) pre-recorded workshop, twenty to thirty (20 to 30) minutes in length, that fits the Summit theme and Host's audience of crafters, makers, and creative hobbyists, submitted to Host by the workshop submission deadline for the Summit. Sponsor is permitted to make one (1) free offer during the recorded workshop.
- Sponsor will provide one (1) free gift related to Sponsor's workshop (such as a pattern, template, printable, or supply guide), hosted on Sponsor's own platform, with a unique opt-in or download link supplied to Host. The free gift must be free to attendees, with no purchase required to receive it.
- Sponsor will complete Host's sponsor form by the date Host provides, including Sponsor's free gift link; Sponsor's logo or a square headshot (minimum 400x400 pixels); a short bio or description of what Sponsor offers; and one image Host may use in social media posts.
- Sponsor will send at least one (1) dedicated promotional email about the Summit to Sponsor's email list during the promotional window, which begins about three (3) weeks before the Summit and runs until the Summit starts. Additional promotion through social media and throughout the Summit window is encouraged.
- Sponsor is encouraged but not required to contribute one (1) premium asset (such as a course, template pack, workshop, printable bundle, mini-class, or other digital resource) for inclusion in the HobbyScool VIP All-Access bundle for the Summit. If contributed, the terms in Section 10 apply.
Host's Obligations
In consideration of Sponsor's performance of the obligations described herein and Sponsor's payment of the Sponsorship Fee, Host will provide Sponsor with:
- Speaker spot. A place for Sponsor's workshop in the Summit lineup alongside the other HobbyScool instructors, made available at no charge to Summit attendees for a minimum of twenty-four (24) hours during the Summit window.
- Day 1 banner. A banner promoting Sponsor's free gift on the Day 1 page of the Summit.
- Free gift email. One (1) email to Summit attendees featuring Sponsor's free gift and resources on their own.
- Speaker sponsor email. One (1) email to all Summit attendees introducing the sponsor speakers, with a direct link to each sponsor's free gift.
- Social media highlight. Posts about Sponsor's free gift on Host's Facebook, Instagram, and Skool community, with Sponsor's link in the post.
- Top of the Meet the Speakers page. Placement of Sponsor's logo or headshot and bio in the sponsor section above the speaker lineup on the Summit's Meet the Speakers page.
- Speaker benefits. Placement of Sponsor's free gift on the HobbyScool Speaker gift page, and affiliate commissions on referrals as described in Section 4.
Host will share the timing of the two emails and the social media posts with Sponsor after booking. The Day 1 banner runs on the first day of the Summit.
Affiliate
Affiliate sales must be made via the unique affiliate link provided to Sponsor by Host for the Summit. Sponsor will not receive commission on purchases made by Sponsor.
Affiliate commissions for the Summit are as follows:
- 50% on VIP All-Access pass purchases
- 50% on digital product sales, including order bumps
- 30% on recurring membership or subscription purchases
Commissions apply to both live and evergreen sales. If Sponsor is currently in, or later enters into, a separate affiliate agreement with Host, then commission payments will be governed by the terms of the most recent agreement between the Parties.
Affiliate payments will be issued on a monthly basis on the first business day of each month. Sponsor will not receive commissions for any referrals that are refunded.
Except as described in this Section, Section 3, and Section 10, Sponsor shall receive no compensation for Host's distribution of Sponsor's workshop or related materials, including the sale of recordings.
Approval of Materials
Host retains the right to deny any workshop, free gift, banner content, image, or VIP bundle asset that Host does not feel is up to the standards of the Summit or a good fit for Host's audience. If Host denies a submitted item, Host will tell Sponsor and give Sponsor a reasonable chance to submit a replacement before the Summit.
Consumer Privacy
Sponsor will have the opportunity to collect email addresses via Sponsor's free gift during the live run of the Summit. Sponsor's free gift link will be advertised on Sponsor's individual presentation page within the Summit, on the HobbyScool Speaker gift page, and in the placements described in Section 3.
Sponsor must give the subscribers gained through this Summit the opportunity to opt out of Sponsor's email list at any time, in accordance with U.S. Federal law.
Sponsor warrants and represents that their privacy policy and email marketing practices adhere to all relevant laws, including but not limited to Federal Trade Commission regulations, State privacy laws, and international data collection laws.
Cancellation
In the event that Sponsor, for any reason, is unable to perform their obligations as described herein, Sponsor shall contact help@hobbyscool.com as soon as possible, to allow Host to arrange an alternative.
Either Party may cancel this Agreement, for any reason, with twenty-one (21) days written notice prior to the workshop submission deadline for the Summit. In the event of cancellation by Sponsor after payment of the Sponsorship Fee, no refund of the Sponsorship Fee will be issued. In the event of cancellation by Host, Section 2 applies.
Authorization and Release
Sponsor hereby grants to Host the rights to use Sponsor's name, business name, logo, voice, appearance, likeness, image, words, participation, headshot, biographical information, and title or professional designation, in whole or in part, in the recordings and compilations of the Summit, and in any correspondence, publicity, advertising, promotional, or other derivative materials based on them. Host has no obligation to make use of the rights granted herein.
Sponsor understands they will not be notified of distribution if their image and biographical information is used. Sponsor understands that their testimonial may be edited for clarity, accuracy, or length. Sponsor waives any right to inspect or approve the finished product wherein their name or biographical information may be used.
Sponsor hereby releases and forever discharges Host from any and all claims, demands, and causes of action which Sponsor, their heirs, representatives, executors, or other authorized persons may have by reason of this authorization and release.
Intellectual Property: Workshop Recording
Sponsor's workshop shall be original work, and none of Sponsor's work product shall infringe on copyrights or other intellectual property rights of others. Sponsor will indemnify Host for loss, liability, or expense resulting from actual breach of these warranties.
Sponsor grants Host the unconditional and irrevocable, perpetual, non-exclusive right to reproduce, edit, distribute, and prepare derivative works from Sponsor's recorded workshop, in any format (video or audio), for both paid and free offerings, including evergreen replays, the HobbyScool VIP All-Access pass, the Annual Workshop Pass, and any future bundle, archive, or paid distribution, and to clip, edit, or repackage sections of the workshop for promotional purposes, provided that Host credits Sponsor and includes a link to Sponsor's website. Host shall own the worldwide rights, title, and interest in compilations and derivative works.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, Sponsor shall also retain the perpetual right to use Sponsor's own recording for any purpose Sponsor deems appropriate.
Intellectual Property: VIP Bundle Contribution
If Sponsor contributes a premium asset for inclusion in the HobbyScool VIP All-Access bundle for the Summit, the following terms apply:
- Sponsor grants Host a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to include the contributed asset in the HobbyScool VIP All-Access bundle for the Summit and distribute it to VIP All-Access pass purchasers.
- Sponsor retains all ownership and intellectual property rights to the contributed asset.
- Sponsor warrants that the contributed asset functions as described and does not infringe on the intellectual property rights of any third party. Sponsor will indemnify Host for loss, liability, or expense resulting from breach of these warranties.
- Sponsor agrees to make the contributed asset available for a minimum of six (6) months from the Summit start date. After that period, Sponsor may update, replace, or remove the asset with written notice to Host.
Third-Party Logos and Trademarks
Sponsor shall not wear or display any third-party logos or trademarks during the recorded workshop, as Host does not have license to display such logos or trademarks in HobbyScool events. Wearing or displaying Sponsor's own company logos or branded materials is permissible.
Updates to Sponsor Materials
Sponsor is responsible for contacting Host if any updates to Sponsor's logo, headshot, bio, links, free gift, or VIP bundle asset are needed. Host may reach out to Sponsor if issues are noticed.
Non-Employee
Sponsor expressly acknowledges that Sponsor is not an employee of Host. Sponsor maintains their own separate business. Sponsor further acknowledges that they are not entitled to any employment rights or benefits including, but not limited to, health insurance, pension, vacation, or sick pay. It is expressly understood that this Agreement does not constitute a joint venture. Sponsor is solely responsible for payment of their own taxes including self-employment tax. Sponsor has the right to perform services for others during the term of this Agreement. Sponsor has the sole right to control the means, method, and manner by which Sponsor will perform services.
Materials, Tools, and Equipment
Sponsor is responsible for using Sponsor's own materials, resources, professional equipment, and tools necessary to provide the services under this Agreement to a standard on par with Sponsor's level of experience and expertise.
No Promise of Publicity
It is expressly understood that no promise of publicity is made by Host to Sponsor beyond what is specifically set forth in Section 3. Host is not obligated to promote Sponsor, Sponsor's presence at the Summit, or Sponsor's topic beyond the obligations specifically set forth in this Agreement. Host does not guarantee any number of attendees, registrations, opt-ins, clicks, or sales.
Summit Details
After checkout, Host will send Sponsor the details for the Summit, including the Summit dates, the workshop submission deadline, the sponsor form deadline, and the promotional window. These details form part of this Agreement for that Summit.
Warranties and Representations
The Parties warrant and represent that they are free to enter into this Agreement and have the authority to do so. The Parties warrant that all statements made in and in preparation of this Agreement are true. Sponsor further represents that Sponsor has full right, power, and authority to grant the releases and licenses set forth herein.
Limit of Liability
LIABILITY UNDER THIS AGREEMENT SHALL BE LIMITED TO FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($500). EXCEPT AS PROHIBITED BY LAW, HOST SHALL NOT BE LIABLE TO SPONSOR OR TO ANY OTHER PERSON OR ENTITY FOR ANY GENERAL, PUNITIVE, SPECIAL, INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, OR LOST PROFITS, OR ANY OTHER DAMAGES, COSTS, OR LOSSES ARISING OUT OF HOST'S SERVICES, MATERIALS, OR PRODUCTS, INCLUDING ATTORNEY'S FEES AND RELATED EXPENSES OF LITIGATION AND ARBITRATION. EXCEPT AS PROHIBITED BY LAW, TO THE EXTENT THERE IS LIABILITY FOUND AS TO HOST, SUCH RECOVERY IS LIMITED TO FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($500).
Indemnification and Release
To the extent permitted by law, each party hereby agrees to protect, indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the other and their respective managers, officers, members, partners, affiliates, owners, shareholders, beneficiaries, and their respective employees, agents, and contractors (collectively, "Representatives") against all claims, losses, liabilities, damages, expenses, and costs arising out of or connected with the negligence or intentional misconduct of such party or its Representatives.
Further, Sponsor on behalf of itself and its owners, affiliates, partners, subsidiaries, employees, agents, contractors, and consultants (collectively "Releasor"), waives any rights to recover from, and hereby forever agrees to release and hold harmless, Host and their respective owners, parent companies, affiliates, partners and subsidiaries, directors, officers, members, participants, employees, consultants, agents, legal representatives and assigns from any and all claims, costs, personal injuries, deaths, expenses, damages, actions and liabilities, of any nature, whether direct or indirect, known or unknown, foreseen or unforeseen (collectively "Claims"), arising from or relating to any acts or omissions by any third party, excepting them from Host's gross negligence or willful misconduct.
Force Majeure
Neither party shall be held liable or responsible to the other party nor be deemed to have defaulted under or breached this Agreement for failure or delay in fulfilling or performing any obligation under this Agreement when such failure or delay is caused by or results from causes beyond the reasonable control of the affected party, including but not limited to fire, floods, embargoes, war, acts of war, insurrections, riots, strikes, lockouts or other labor disturbances, technology platform outages, internet outages, or acts of God; provided, however, that the party so affected shall use reasonable commercial efforts to avoid or remove such causes of nonperformance, and shall continue performance hereunder with reasonable dispatch whenever such causes are removed. Either party shall provide the other party with prompt written notice of any delay or failure to perform that occurs by reason of force majeure.
Waiver
No waiver of any default by any party or parties to this Agreement shall be implied from any omission by a party or parties to any action on account of such default. If such default persists or is repeated, no express waiver shall affect any default other than the default specified in the express waiver, and that only for the time and to the extent therein stated.
Article Headings
All article, paragraph, and section headings set forth in this Agreement are intended for convenience only and shall not control or affect the meaning, construction, or effect of this Agreement or any of the provisions thereof.
Severability
If any provision of this Agreement shall be declared invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be deemed eliminated from this Agreement, and all remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
Changes to These Terms
Host may update these Terms from time to time by posting a new version with a new "last updated" date. The version in effect when Sponsor completes checkout applies to that purchase. Any other change to a Sponsor's purchase must be agreed in writing by both Parties.
Mediation
Host and Sponsor agree to try to settle all disputes between them through private mediation before initiating any arbitration, litigation, or other dispute resolution procedure. The mediation session will occur at a time mutually agreed upon by the Parties in consultation with a mutually selected mediator, though no later than thirty (30) days after the date of service of the initial notice, unless otherwise agreed by the Parties and mediator. Each party shall bear its own fees and costs for the mediation. The Parties agree to mediate in Fulton County, Georgia.

This Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the State of Georgia.
Venue
The Parties agree that any dispute that may arise as related to this Agreement shall be brought in a court within Fulton County, Georgia.
Sole and Only Agreement
This Agreement contains the entire understanding between the Parties with respect to the Summit and supersedes any and all other prior written agreements and understandings (whether oral or written) between the Parties with respect to the Summit, including any separate HobbyScool speaker agreement as it applies to the Summit.
These terms govern Sponsor's speaker sponsorship purchase specifically. Where they conflict with the general Terms of Use, these terms control as to the sponsorship. Sponsor's use of the HobbyScool website remains subject to the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
Assignment; Successors and Assigns
Sponsor agrees that Sponsor will not assign, sell, transfer, delegate, or otherwise dispose of, whether voluntarily or involuntarily, or by operation of law, any rights or obligations under this Agreement. Any such purported assignment, transfer, or delegation shall be null and void. Sponsor represents that Sponsor has not previously assigned or transferred any claims or rights released by them pursuant to this Agreement. Subject to the foregoing, this Agreement shall be binding upon and shall inure to the benefit of the Parties and their respective heirs, successors, attorneys, and permitted assigns. This Agreement shall not benefit any other person or entity except as specifically enumerated in this Agreement.
